We cut through the PVC edging on the hinge end of your door so that your chosen hinge sits tightly inside the edge of the door. Then to strengthen the door, the lock edge is fitted with a full length of powder coated aluminium lock strip (4mm thick). Your preferred lock sits flush inside the door.
Our unique glazing cassette (which is patented) can be removed from the inside which allows the glass to be changed and the same cassette to be reused. This means no fear of having to replace your door because of damaged caused by de-glazing attempts gone wrong. All our composite doors are reglazable except for the FD30 Fire Doors.
Our composite doors use Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) skins - the same material used to make the hulls of boats - to ensure a long life performance a better definition. This material is exceptionally strong and extremely resistant to wind and rain, making it the perfect skin for our high quality doors.
